​IAM / ​Projects / Grouper / Environment Requirements

Here are the environment requirements per Bill Thompson 2012-06-21:

• Suitable OS: RHEL is fine.
• Tomcat 6.0.35
• Oracle JDK6 update 33
• Ant 1.8.4
• Apache httpd 2.2

User accounts:

• accounts with sudo: shilen, wgthom
• grouper user to run grouper deamon
• tomcat user to run tomcat

Handy tools:

• ldapsearch
• curl/wget
• tar/gzip
• subversion client ?

From test VM, connectivity / access to:

• test AD (target for group provisioning)
• test LDAP (target for group provisioning)
• test Oracle RDMBS with privs to create grouper objects, view, tables, indexes, etc.
• prod LDAP (for querying subjects/attributes only)

We'll also need info on ssh/vpn access.
